change himself?
I think the poet wants to change himself because he
has come to the realization that changing oneself is the only aspect within his
control.
b. Why does the poet feel sorry in the
poem?
The poet feels sorry because he realizes that if he
had changed himself earlier, he could have made a bigger difference in the
world.
c. What does the poet realise when he
grew old?
As the poet grew old, he realises that he can only
change himself and not the outside world.
d. If the poet had changed himself, what
could have happened?
If the poet had changed himself earlier, he believes
it could have influenced his family, town, nation, and even the world.
e. Is changing the world easy or tough ?

Changing the world is not easy. The poet’s
realization indicates that creating significant change is difficult and
necessitates personal growth and transformation.
C. How can we change ourselves
and the society? Discuss.
Changing ourselves and society is a complex and
multifaceted process, but it is indeed possible and necessary for progress and
growth. Here are some key ways in which we can initiate change at both the

Changing society begins with changing ourselves. Engaging in self-reflection
